The mainstream media is really layering on the crap and letting everyone know that it won't accurately "count" these anti-war protest crowds. This personal experience reflects how ridiculous this Media has become, even if the the rally took place in a church!! In St. Louis, 3,000 Protestors Is 300 :: War, Politics, Culture ::

They really must be afraid that normal everyday god-fearing Christians are actually opposed to this insane notion of war. Really?!? Or is it that they are so reliant on parent corporate cash that they don't want to risk actually reporting the real news for fear of being cut off by these pro-war "I have everthing to gain" Big Media corporations.

Let's hear it for Mark Morford of SFGate, quite possibly the only journalist on the SF Chronicle to not be bought off by Hearst's "donors!"-- Especially that ridiculous anti-war opposition piece that ran today on "Crowd Counting." They are working overtime there is Shrubville. Funny, the people standing next to me at the rally were, let's see now, a mother and child, a family, an 80-year old grandmother of four, a stock analyst, and a pediatrician. Sounds like a "normal" to me. They didn't seem like anti-globalists. Hmmm...? Of course, the real story here is: Bush Gives You The Finger / Millions worldwide rally against Dubya's oily little war -- not that he gives a damn

Thank you, Mr. Byrd, for speaking the truth! It would be wise one day to assume that only one person in the Senate, during this frightening time was actually thinking for a change, realizing only that this Reckless Administration May Reap Disastrous Consequences
