Pelosi mocked as S.F.'s 'latte liberal' / Conservatives say her rise helps them

The Smirking Chimp puts it appropriately: "The smear campaign begins…" It seems the Left in this country is in complete disarray. We all know the Demos story, as the GOP Media pundits attest. The Greens and other ‘lefter’-leaning groups couldn't even get the voters out to vote! Progressive groups all around the country are failing to attract that 60% and liberal Demos are just plain apathetic. Who could blame them? But, the point here is not to fret, but to act. We are all aware that we will be on the defense for the next two years. That is all we have- two years to solidify the Left- to give it a voice, necessary to defeat the Right. A coalition of Left groups that speak for more Americans will do it. Pelosi's appointment is a first step to help the Demos understand the Left's disunity.
