Majority of Americans believe Bush administration misled public on Iraq
Yep. It is beginning to look a lot like BushCo's final round. The American people are beginning to wake up to the lies and deception that this administration has dumped on them. The level of corruption is overwhelming and unprecedented in some cases. Does this mean anything? Maybe. The Democrats, with their heads currently in the sand (save a few), have an opportunity to unite folks and get this country back on track. Picking up seats in the Mid-Term elections will bring balance back to the system and stabilize this freefall into a radical and extremist right-wing political state. The Dems don't have that much better of a rating than their fellow GOPers, but gradual focus on domestic issues abandoned by BushCo could stop the bleeding. The economy has been sputtering for 5 years, local governments are cutting essentials at an alarming rate, and we are in a war without end. It would be time we do something about this - provide some alternatives to this failing Republican administration. We could save ourselves from this crazy religious talk every time an economic or real domestic issue comes up and get down to business and solve some problems. Democracy at work, for once…

Rove doesn't care about anybody but his rich patrons. His asinine comments about liberals just confirm his inability to take criticism, especially with increasing opposition to the bogus war in Iraq. He lashes out at MoveOn.org, Michael Moore, and Howard Dean as illogical and politically reckless, deflecting the fact that he is hypocritical and disingenuous about the state of affairs in America by tapping into FoxNews buzzwords. America's standards are better that this. Rove certainly does not represent most Americans and never will. His sole job is to make BushCo marketable period. Once again, this is a prime example that this administration does not live in the reality-based world. They bitch so much about liberal Hollywood, yet they are putting on the largest fictional story of all time.
Schumer says Rove's comment went too far
The White House is now backtracking a bit, but will never apologize. Children seldom do...

Supremes rule that corporations can take your house
Power of eminent domain is widened. Now, regular folks that happen to sit on prime property have no say when companies want to set up shop. Life, liberty, and the pursuit of property only apply to corporations. The rest of us be damned.
Justice O'Connor warned: "Under the banner of economic development, all private property is now vulnerable to being taken and transferred to another private owner, so long as it might be upgraded..."
I would have to say that is an understatement. Proponents say that average Americans should not worry about this ruling. But given the track record of so-called corporate responsibility on issues like environment, worker rights, and public use, it is an outrage to think that your land is not secure.
The American Dream involves many things, made possible by an amazing document, The Constitution. We can either live by the People's rules, or by Halliburton’s... You decide.

Senate again refuses to confirm Bolton
The tragic story of Bolton continues. When is BushCo going to realize that this guy is NOT the man for the job? But what would it matter anyway - BushCo would never listen to the people. They are dug in until the last white rich man falls...

ABC Flips: To Now Air 'Killed' Robert Kennedy Jr. Interview. ABC Responds ...
What's going on here? Censorship from Disney, I suppose. Robert Kennedy Jr., on the front lines trying to make sense of mercury and childrens' vaccinations, stepped on some toes that reaches into BushCo land.
"The article links the CDC, FDA and Bill Frist to major drug companies, including GlaxoSmithKline, Merck, Wyeth, and Aventis Pasteur that continued to include thimerosal in their vaccines despite studies showing the damage – and death – it caused in humans."
Hmmmm. I see now.
The President's Problems: "In just the past month, his approval rating in that group has fallen 14 points. "
Back from my 2 week hiatus to bring some good news - I have a baby boy and, as the above article suggests, that BushCo is a lame duck and hugely unpopular. Very good news for him. Maybe, we can clean up this mess faster, so as to lessen the burden on my son's generation?
