The timing of BushCo's Supreme Court Pick...

Is it that obvious that the Roberts nod coincided to distract Dems from burning Rove? Treasongate is not going away. The offenses of Mr. Bush and his right hand man, fart flower, cannot be swept aside by nominating a conservative white man to the high court, who clearly has his bias.

This nonsense about him being moderate is clearly untrue. His wife plays a prominent role in anti-abortion activities, as BushCo retracts slightly. If BushCo is so worried, why are they not releasing "those memos of candor?" Attorney-client privilege? Hmmm, sounds like stonewalling. But wait! This is the administration's modus operandi. Is there something there? Of course there is - why would be not release memos then?

To top it off, BushCo uses TV-land D.A. from Law & Order, Fred Thompson, as an "advisor" for the Roberts nomination. Granted, Thompson played US Senator in real life for nearly a decade, but this certainly blurs the line between reality and fiction. But, BushCo has made an art of making fiction reality anyway. And, I thought they hated Hollywood - unless, of course, it is used to their advantage - confusing the public as to who Thompson really is as the "reasonable" public face to the City of New York in L-and-O or the "reasonable" public face in propelling a inexperienced conservative jurist to the highest court in the land. I wonder what McCoy would think...
